The global epicenter for finance
No place in the world is more associated with dramatic reversals of fortune than Wall Street. Referring to not only the street but also the surrounding financial district, Wall Street is now synonymous with big business and corporate America - this is not only the home of the New York Stock Exchange, but also the headquarters for many of the major investment banks. Though Wall Street has seen its fair share of devastation - the stock market crash of 1929, September 11 - it is always bustling with bankers, brokers and investors. It's also quite easy on the eyes - lovely Trinity Church graces one end, and many of the older buildings showcase Art Deco features.
